Solutions to monitor, record, and control civilian-use facilities, such as decommissioned nuclear power plants or power generation facilities.
For about 20 years, CJB has been working with SO.G.I.N. to supervise the parameters of the Caorso Nuclear Power Plant.
The Caorso Power Plant is no longer operational, and has long been under decommissioning. But the decommissioning operation takes decades, and in the meantime, a large number of sensors need to be kept constantly under control, from which to read, for example, groundwater levels, core temperatures, radioactivity levels, etc.
The CJB-designed Supervision System has undergone several evolutions over the years to adapt to new hardware and software technologies as they become available.
But the purpose is always the same: to connect to all sensors present, detect their magnitudes, check for alarms for possible threshold exceedances, and store all values in real time with an acquisition system that uses fieldbus modules, has a dual-hot architecture, and a powerful server.
Within the Central Unit, all operators and technicians with the appropriate credentials can, with a special APP on Windows, access the database and analyze the acquisition history.
