ETN® Interface Boards (for PC)

ETN® controllers allow the PC's CPU to interact with distributed I/O modules without dedicating machine time to managing the transmission protocol.

ETN was a widely used field bus in the early 2000s.

ETN® modules are high-performance interface boards for IBM-compatible PCs with a PCI interface.

Communication is perceived by the PC as a series of read and write memory accesses. They support connections to I/O via RS-485 (shielded twisted pair) or fiber optic (optional).

CJB is capable of providing ETN Master boards (e.g. TSN-150) on the PCI bus.
