Controls for Public EV Charging Stations
Custom electronics for the user interface of EV charging stations, featuring high-brightness displays, vandal-resistant design, and an extended operating temperature range.
CJB collaborates closely with manufacturers of EV charging stations, designing and producing custom user interface systems (HMI).
Typically, high-brightness LCD displays (at least 1000 nits) are used, with thick protective or touch glass that is IK10 resistant (able to withstand 20 Joule impacts), and optically bonded to the display with silicone resin (OCR) for enhanced durability and clarity.
The display is controlled by a high-performance ARM-based CPU board (dual or quad-core), ensuring smooth visual performance.
The HMI system is designed for outdoor operation, with a temperature range from -20°C to +70°C, and even up to +85°C.
The HMI communicates with the power subsystem via Modbus TCP or RTU connections.
CJB offers full customization of the HMI system for EV charging stations, including different types of displays, touchscreens, and CPUs, providing tailored hardware and software solutions.
