Software Design
CJB has designed the software that allows to configure and supervise all the hardware equipment that in turn allows the safe landing of a helicopter on a warship in any environmental weather conditions.
The solution created by CJB includes the following software:
Configurator:
Through this software, an ad-hoc project is created for each ship. The project takes into account the ship's equipment and the specifications requested by the customer. This software can be used on any Windows PC.
Supervisor:
It runs the project produced by the Configurator and allows, through the various screens, to view and control the status of each device on the ship. It is run on various PCs, installed on the ships, compliant with military standards.
The Supervisor uses the NMEA protocol for the acquisition of environmental data from standard devices. It uses a proprietary protocol for communication with the CPUs (typically based on VME CPU-cards and real-time operating system) that manage all the devices on the ship.
The Supervisor can manage a Master/Slave configuration. In this case, two or more PCs located in different points of the ship are allowed to perform both control and supervision.
